Just think of how much worse it will be when millions of people are kicked out of their jobs and replaced by AI? Then the data centers running AI use up all the water and electricity? A reckoning is coming!
No doubt we face a huge fiscal dilemma. Self imposed debt, unbalanced tax schedule, loopholes for the wealthy… we are becoming a third world country. Rich living behind gates and walls , poor living under bridges and poverty is viewed as “ you are just not working hard enough “ - even though many have three poor paying jobs just to survive. As the poverty rate climbs , the anger will grow exponentially… this will trigger change . As the bread lines in the 1930s emerged , the depression was the reason for the new social safety nets - unemployment, food stamps , social security and Medicaid - all created out of need . Trump has gutted these safety nets , but people will not tolerate having their basic needs stolen while the extremely wealthy are raking it in by the billions . The pain and hunger is coming …. And the billionaires are going to have to hide - escape to Argentina or Israel or Saudi Arabia . We WILL have tax reform … Elizabeth Warren has be preaching “ I’ve got a plan for that “ for years . Democratic Socialism is going to be the new wave - everyone knows ( thanks to the World Cup ) that the US medical system sucks. It may take some flushing out of our old politicians…. FLUSH TWICE . But the question is … how much suffering will be necessary for this change to happen ?
The scale of this problem is just so huge it's hard to see how it can ever be fixed. Unless the entire American people can snap out of their stupor and get angry. Properly, Revolutionary, pitchforks-and-flaming-torches angry. That'll do it.

The you tube video has so many great points to consider and thanks for “videoing” it as I could not read that much without falling asleep,but I watched many parts over and over. Lots of great information and things to consider. But the fact remains that the BIG companies take advantage where ever they can. And CIVIC responsibility for making so much and paying their fair share should be an honorable thing instead of finding a loophole to take advantage of countries and people. What happened to honor and fairness? Bloody GREED and SELFISHNESS!
They don’t care is your best line. The rich have been lauded and honoured for decades now. Their riches are active and therefore not in hand. Really if one’s investments, corporations etc were evaluated and taxed the rich would indeed pay a share, not THE share but above those that normal Americans pay. The country would be able to exist and care for its’ population with health care and education, food and transportation.

According to Thom Hartmann, we have had well over $50 Trillion stolen from us by the oligarchy since 1980 and the Ronald Reagan era. We want it back!
